3/21/2024 0 Comments Minecraft village houseThere could be giveaways from the surface too, like little trap doors with ladders leading down to the village in a clearing with not many trees around (suggesting they have used wood in the village to make doors). I would say these professions are necessary for the underground villages due to the fact they wouldn’t have farms as their main form of sustenance, which would then add to the rarity of the villages spawning as they would HAVE to spawn near a body of water. These villages should also have underground lakes/overground lakes close, to make the fishing profession make sense, and farmers could focus on farming mushrooms in little dirt mushroom rooms as putting farming plots above ground could give them away to pillagers. Most things would probably be the same as surface vilages, although maybe with a few tweaks (more torches to better light the caverns in which the sun never reaches, a higher likelihood of iron golems due to the fact that caves are more dangerous alongside the fact that iron is more readily available underground, stuff like that). The buildings would probably be built using a combination of various types of stone as well as possibly the materials available in the surface biome the village is in. Maybe not "stronghold in a superflat world" rare, but pretty rare all the same. Now obviously, cave villages would be EXTREMELY rare so as to keep the core mining experience intact. You step through, and to your surprise, it's a massive cavern, and within it is a fully formed village. An opening at the end of the long hall of stone you seemed to be trapped within. Just when you think it's over, you see something. You have no choice but to keep moving forward. You're low on torches and food, and all of your weapons and tools are inching closer and closer towards their breaking points. You're lost and don't know your way back up. So imagine this: You're exploring a vast cave system.
